Episode Highlights with Michael Karlfeldt

  • Dr. Karlfeldt began searching for ways to help his suffering and frustrated patients, who, despite going to numerous doctors, were not finding relief.  Through that, he found Dr. Klinghardt’s work, which influenced his developing Integrative Lyme Solutions.

  • Severe neurological symptoms can be mistaken for other disorders, but are in reality, due to Lyme disease.  Sadly, many patients are misdiagnosed or undiagnosed for years, even decades.

  • In the past, doctors were at risk of losing their licenses if they admitted to treating Lyme disease patients.

  • Lyme patients face social and medical stigma, which compounds the mental and emotional distress of dealing with chronic illness.

  • Borrelia Burgdorferi is never the only pathogen that is present and causing trouble within the terrain of a Lyme patient.

  • Extensive lab testing can be helpful, but also cost prohibitive to patients. In these instances, muscle testing via Applied Kinesiology can be an alternative.

  • ART is a system developed by Dr. Klinghardt - it stands for Autonomic Response Testing.  In essence, the nervous system is exposed to stressors to assess how it responds to them.  When pressure is applied to certain nerve endings, stress is applied to the specific organ associated with the nerve ending. This can be a way to see which organs are already under a lot of stress.

  • These kinds of non-invasive tests are helpful to see what is happening inside the organs before problems start to show up on a blood test.  Once a blood test is showing problems, the disease process has advanced quite a bit.

  • If someone is bitten by a tick, Dr. Karlfeldt recommends using BioPure products from Dr. Klinhardt to prevent the issue from becoming chronic.

  • Ozone can be an effective therapy for Lyme patients as well.

  • Several factors come into play when constructing a treatment plan for Lyme disease including but not limited to: how sick the patient is, how much they are able to detoxify, and cost.

  • Hidden infections, including within the mouth, can profoundly affect patients.

  • Addressing the emotional patterns of the chronically ill patient is also important, as trauma hold its own energetic frequency, which resonates with pathogenic frequencies.
