About Dr. Gerry Curatola, D.D.S.

Dr. Gerry Curatola is an internationally recognized biologic dentist with more than 37 years of clinical practice experience. Dr. Curatola studied neuroscience at Colgate University and attended dental school at New York University College of Dentistry where he now serves as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care. Dr. Curatola attended Harvard Medical School's program in Complementary and Alternative Medicine in 1996-97, and he is the Founder and Director of Rejuvenation Dentistry on Park Avenue in New York, NY, and Rejuvenation Health in East Hampton, NY.  

 

Dr. Curatola holds multiple patents and trademarks for his pioneering work on the Oral Microbiome, and he is the inventor of Revitin, an oral care line based on his proprietary microbiome research. In 2006, Dr. Curatola named The Curatola Wing For Clinical Research at New York University to further translational research, and he is the recipient of the Acton Medal at NYU for outstanding contributions to the University. He is listed in the Guide to America’s Top Dentists, the Leading Physicians of the World, Who’s Who Amongst Professionals, and Top Dentists of New York. Dr. Curatola frequently serves as oral health expert to The Doctor Oz Show, CBS, FOX and ABC television networks, and he has published extensively in professional and lay publications. His latest book, The Mouth-Body Connection, released by Hachette Publishing in 2017, explores the bi-directional relationship behind oral health and systemic wellness.
