Rolf Habersang, MD, specializes in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and the care of children with chronic health conditions. He has been practicing and teaching since 1973 and is a highly sought after speaker.

Dr. Habersang was born in Germany and trained in Switzerland (receiving his M.D. from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Basel); followed by an Internship and Residency at the Department of Pediatrics, Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, as well as an MPH & TM from Tulane's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine

 

He has received numerous awards for his achievements.

Dr. Habersang is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, as well as Medical Director of ICAM (Integrated Complementary Alternative Medicine) in Amarillo, Texas. Here he incorporates a variety of intervention modalities - not only for "healthy" individuals who want to optimize their health, but also for many patients who have been "written off" by other providers due to a chronic disease or cancer diagnosis.

 

Dr. Habersang has found nutrition to be a key factor in his patients' recovery and/or in improving their quality of life.
